Whether in a crowded edit suite or working independently, I find the best possible way to tell a compelling story. If I make the edit better than the client could have hoped for, then I've done my job.
My work includes 100's of successful national and international commercials and short format web content for brands like Google, NFL, Pepsi, Facebook, Gillette, Goldman Sachs, Samsung, Comcast, Bud Light, Fisher-Price, Pampers, and MasterCard. In addition, I've cut promos, award-winning shorts, TV show pilots, sizzles, political ads, new business pitches, and parody commercials for Saturday Night Live. I work extremely well under pressure, as evidenced by the intense turnaround time on the parody commercials - the shoot usually commenced on a Friday for Saturday’s show.
My long format work includes The Great Alone, an award-winning feature length documentary shot in the arctic of Alaska that chronicles the incredible comeback journey of four-time Iditarod champion, Lance Mackey. The film's numerous awards include the Grand Jury Award for Best Documentary at the 2015 Seattle International Film Festival.
I launched my career at Crew Cuts in 1999, rising quickly through the ranks to editor. I was a finalist in Boards Magazine's 3rd Annual First Boards Awards, which seek out the best new editorial talents from around the globe. In 2007, I was asked to help start the New York office of Nomad. I am now available on a freelance basis.
